Christian McKimmy

DESIGN ASSISTANT | FUTURE SALES DESIGNER

Christian McKimmy is proud to be the third generation of the McKimmy family to join the team at Kitchen Design Plus. A 2023 graduate of The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, Christian holds a degree in Finance but has quickly discovered a passion for the creative and client-focused world of kitchen and bath design.

Currently, Christian supports the design team by developing detailed floor plans and creating stunning 3D renderings using CAD software. This hands-on experience is helping him build a strong foundation in space planning, product knowledge, and design principles. From assisting on job site measurements to shadowing sales team members and even jumping in on service calls, Christian is immersing himself in all aspects of the remodeling process.

His ultimate goal is to grow into a Sales Designer role—one where he can combine his love for people, creative thinking, and problem-solving to help homeowners bring their visions to life. He believes the most successful designs come from truly understanding each client’s lifestyle and style preferences, and he’s excited to continue learning and growing within the ever-evolving design industry.

Outside of work, Christian enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling—especially to national parks like the Great Smoky Mountains. He’s a dedicated Detroit sports fan (except during college football season—Go Buckeyes!) and a former baseball player who now spends his time golfing, hiking, skiing, and chasing a personal goal of visiting every Major League Baseball stadium.

Christian brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a deep commitment to carrying forward his family’s legacy of craftsmanship and customer care at Kitchen Design Plus.
