Our Process

Planning is entirely in your hands, and it can take anywhere from days to weeks, or even years, to decide how you want to utilize a space. The complexity of your plan largely depends on the scope of your project. Once you establish your project’s scope and budget, you can work with a KDP Designer to define your style and vision for the space, even if you don’t have a specific plan. Understanding your desires and taking your time with the process is essential, as this will help our designers better understand what you want. Since you are planning for your home, we want to ensure it reflects exactly what you envision.

1. Designing

A KDP Designer will schedule a day and time to visit your home to take the necessary measurements and photographs of the space for a fee of $250. If you decide to place your order, this fee will be deducted from the final sale price.

The designer can then create layout drawings and perspective views after sitting down with you and understanding your preferences using the latest 2020 design software. This software enables us to generate 3D renderings in color based on your measurements, allowing you to see exactly how the design will look in your home. Additionally, they can customize the design on the spot and make the necessary revisions if it doesn’t match what you envisioned. The duration of the design process will depend significantly on you and the scope of your project.

2. Final Design & Product Selection

The time needed to finalize your design and select all materials will vary based on the number of changes you request and the scope of your remodel. While changes may extend the timeline, they are essential to ensure you achieve your desired outcome. Please allow extra time for adjustments, focus on the details, and make use of your KDP designer’s expertise. Once you have selected the products and finalized the design, your KDP designer will provide a cost proposal for the project.

3. Ordering Product

Once you are ready to proceed with the order, you will meet with your designer to review the design documents and complete the Proposal Acceptance Form. Your designer will go over every detail with you to ensure everything is exactly how you want it.

4. Construction

This is where your vision and our design begin to take shape. Depending on the project’s scope, construction may take some time. You will receive a timeline outlining the phases, including demolition, the installation of mechanical systems, cabinets, countertops, and all finishing touches.

We have established relationships with several top professional companies in the area, particularly contractors, who can help bring your dream kitchen to life. This collaboration ensures that your design aligns with what you’ve discussed with your designer. It also enables us to order the cabinets promptly, ensuring they’re ready when needed. While the construction process may be inconvenient, rest assured that the beautiful transformation of your home will be worth the wait.

At every step of the process, we stay in communication with you and make sure that you’re satisfied with the project. Let us work with you to make this transformation easy and exactly what you want for your home.
